Yet another close finish. Less than a second between Andrew and Speedy for second.
Andrew is off to Newcastle to learn how to fly his hang glider next week so the rest of us might have a chance to get on the condor podium while he’s away. Have fun earning your wings mate.

A great race with Andrew L proving to be quiet a sailplane pilot. Nice flying.
It was a nail biting finish with Dan who lead most of the task but was just pipped on the last leg.
This task seems to have returned the most number of tracklogs (even despite my machine crashing before I could save my own). Nice work guys, keep them coming!

A tough task.
After getting a great start I was a little over optimistic as I set off on course. This mentality saw Chesty and I race to the deck only a third of the way into proceedings.
It looks like it was a great race with Tex taking the cake closely followed by Andrew and Speedy.
Sorry about the delay. Youtube did not want to take the video for some reason.

Wednesday night’s race was full of little decisions. A couple of times I found heading at 90 degrees to course line was the secret to staying in the race.
A majority of the field had a hard time making goal after testing the bolts holding their wings on or venturing into Cumulous granitous. This reduced the number of people keen to send in their tracklogs. Speedy was also hard done by - his PC had a fit as he rounded the last turn point. It would have been a nail biter between Speed, Andrew and I if he had finished.
Great race

In bed by 11pm!
Chesty set a great little task starting in the flatlands and finishing with a blisteringly fast ridge run perpendicular to the wind. A large ridge just before the turnpoint proved to make things interesting. Andrew and I managed to scrape over the top which set us up nicely for the final leg.
To top off such a fun race I also managed to snap some of the coolest in game shots I’ve taken.

This weeks task saw Speedy and I scraping our way into goal after some very interesting moments on the last leg.

Last night’s task seemed pretty straight forward. With ridges to follow on all legs we all knew it was going to be quick. I packed plenty of water for the trip but alas not enough super glue to hold the wings on when the flutter kicked in:(
Lenny also met a similar fate. Chesters and Speedy are still walking out of the alps after pushing hard and getting very low.
That just left Andrew to finish the race in style. I managed to take line honours but it was nowhere near enough to make up the 200 point penalty.
Another fun race.
